Brooklin L.C. Offers Online Ticketing For All Home Games

By Sam Laskaris

The Brooklin Lacrosse Club is making it easier for fans to attend their home contests and for the first time, offering reserved seating for all tickets purchased.

Instead of having to wait in potentially long lineups to purchase tickets on game days, fans now have the option of buying their tickets online beforehand through the Brooklin L.C. website and mobile app.

“It’s so much more convenient for fans,” said Brad MacArthur, the general manager of the Brooklin squad. “And the biggest thing we can offer season ticket holders and all single game purchases is reserved seating – they can have the same seat they want for every game.”

The Brooklin squad had experimented with online ticketing during the 2018 Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) playoffs. “The response was pretty good but we had some flaws with that system,” MacArthur said. The Brooklin team, however, has now teamed up with the respected Ticketpro company for its online sales.

"Ticketpro is honoured to be the official ticketing provider of the Brooklin Lacrosse Club and affiliates with the Major Series Lacrosse," said Ann Barker Ticketpro Director of Operations and Business Development. "We are pleased to offer the fans the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance online through or by phone through our call centre at 1-888-655-9090. We look forward to an exciting lacrosse season in Durham region.

Those looking to purchase either seasons tickets or tickets to individual Brooklin games can do so now by simply visiting the Brooklin L.C. website. Users will be brought to the Ticketpro platform and from there scroll down to find the Brooklin Lacrosse Club and then simply choose any ticketing option.

Brooklin, one of six clubs competing in the MSL this season, will have nine regular season home contests.

The team’s home opener is set for June 5 at 8 p.m. against the Cobourg Kodiaks at Whitby’s Iroquois Park Sports Centre.

Brooklin’s regular season home matches will be every Wednesday night during June and July.
