Busy Stretch for the Redmen, 1 for 1 So Far

The Redmen honoured the memory of McMichael and his friend and teammate John Fusco, sales rep at Coldwell Banker in Brooklin was the game night sponsor which was fitting.

Mike Poulin played lights out in the Redmen net and gave his mates a chance to win. The Redmen were happy to have Dan Lintner back after he missed a few games as he scored one and had an assist. Shawn Williams was also 1,1 and with that assist needed just five more to tie John Davis for the all time total assists record in regular season play. The Redmen were also happy to see their first decent sized crowd of the year to cheer on their home town heroes.

The mid-season three game road swing started last night in Brampton and moves to Oakville on Monday and Six Nations on Tuesday, no traditional Wednesday night home game on July 1 and back in action Wed July 8 with KW in town.

The Redmen took the win from Brampton last night by a final of 14-8 and at the mid-point of the season sport a record of 3-5-1 good for a tie with KW for the final playoff spot.
