COLLEY STEPS DOWN, MACARTHUR NAMED INTERIM GM

The Brooklin Redmen announce that Wayne Colley has tendered his resignation effective Wednesday October 26, 2016.

Prior to the start of the 2008 season, he was named General Manager of the Brooklin Redmen with the team on a rebuilding mission. From the start, Wayne had a vision to draft wisely and to build a team that added more local talent to the roster.

Wayne has had a long and successful history with the Redmen. He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2006 in the Player’s category as a member of the 1985-1991 Redmen dynasty teams. Wayne was also honoured as a life member of the Redmen family.

Over his many years at the helm, Wayne has provided a solid foundation for the team moving forward.

Team president, Dean Link announced that Brad MacArthur has been named interim General Manager and will represent the team at the upcoming Ontario Lacrosse Association annual general meeting as well as the Major Series Lacrosse junior entry draft Draft in January 2017.

The Brooklin Redmen thank Wayne for his hard work and efforts in bringing pride to the organization; we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
