Redmen 2018 MSL Entry Level Draft Results

The Redmen were on the board for five picks in Sunday afternoon’s MSL 2018 entry draft. The club had a second and fourth pick in the first round and chose as follows:

1st Holden Garlent - Garlent started the 2017 season with the St Catharines Athletics where in 13 games he scored 9 goals added 10 assists for 19 points. He was traded to the Six Nations Arrows and in the playoffs dressed in 8 games, registering 8 goals and 4 helpers for 12 points. As a member of the 2017 Minto Cup winning Arrows team he scored 4 goals and added 3 assists for 7 points in the 6 games he played. 

2nd Nick Chaykowsky - he played the 2017 season in Barrie with the Lakeshores and in 11 games, scored 17 times with 11 assists for 28 points before continuing his season in the BCJALL with the New West Jr. Salmonbellies. 

In the second round with the 12th overall pick they went with Zach Bryant (Clarington Green Gaels) and finally in the fourth round they selected Brent Noseworthy (Burlington Chiefs) with the 24th overall pick.

The Redmen decided to pass on their pick in the fifth and final round.
